Tumtuma
Tumtuma is a grassy country that often deals with wildfires. To keep it's cities safe people dig moats around and through out the town. But Tumtuma is not a wet country, to fix this problem major cities spend tons of money on magical artifacts that create water. In smaller or poorer towns one of the common job is to be a water mage. Ensuring that the moats wont try up. Towns also use these moats for irrigation for their farms. Most towns only grow enough food for themselves.
The need for people to cast create water has lead to most people having some training as either a druid or a cleric to the god Sangre. It's seen as a responsible and honorable to send your child off to a divinity School. Starting at age 5 you can send your child to a divinity school, they live there at the school full time. As well as family is not allowed to vist, to not distract the child from their important schooling. Most people graduate from a divinity school around age 18-22, but some stay their life long to devote themselves.
Culture
Tumtuman traditional art is manily Wood and seed-shell based. Making wood stamps for dying fabric, Seed shell beads, and small wood pocket totems are the most common arts in Tumtuma.
Tumtuman food is three main foods cooked in various driffrent ways, Most dishes are a combination of Squash, Wheat, and Beef. Anything from stuffed wheat buns, to fried squash severed with stake are very common here. Cheese and dairy is another keystone to Tumtuman foods. Pistachios are also used as one of the main seasoning/favloring foods.
History
The Monacry has been the the "Rajorino" Family sense the war against the old Dictatorship that Briland had force on them, 247 years ago. Briland wanted full control of the pistachio farms in Tumtuma, As this is one of the only places where this plant can grow. Most people where forced to work in the help of growing and shipping pistachio to Briland. People started to grow sick of this controll, and in this turmoil a young Marchu Rajorino grathered rebels. This lead to him forming the Monarchy, famous for saying
"Who better to take care of our people then someone of our people!"
In order to keep the Monacry fair, the monarch takes time to hear feed back from the citizens. The royal crown is passed down to the youngest child, And must get married to someone from a average background. This is done to ensure that a layman have a voice even in the royal courts.
Trades
pistachios are their main export, another major export is water creation related magical items.
Religion
The Main Religion is Rueda. A Sangre religion that focues on the pasage of time and nature. They belive that people's jobs is to take care of nature while shaping it to be what they want. They belive it's their role to shape and care for nature.
