The Sun is a object that the Elder God had made whom became a god by the worship of mortals. The sun hardly was its own will as most of it's thoughts and control is done through elder. All though mortals do not know how much control Elder God has over the sun, Mortals see this as its own fully formed God.

The sun often drives people to seak for glory and grandeur.
