Moret
It's seaside is known for lush kelp forests, The ocean is the heartbeat of the country. As the country side is rocky and the soil is not well suited for many stable foods. The few forest that dot the land are protecting and carefully taken care of. Becuase of this Moret uses durids to take care of farm land. It's no where near enough a country would need to be fully self-sufficient.
Many of the costal cities in Moret have water cannals through out, more people own boats here rather then cars. These cities are every walkable, and if something is to far to walk to there are public boats you can take.
Culture
In Moret when you where born and where is really important. Babies born in the same year are put in the same year cohort. people in a year cohort are bounded to each other, and are expected to help the other people in your cohort. Those born on the same day and year as each other are also seen as people who need to respect their bound, as that person is practically destined to be your best friend for life. Year Cohorts are expected to be friends with each other, help each other study, and help each other durring hard times. Those born in bigger cities cohort might be just other kids born in their neighborhood or even apartment building.
Tiwns are seen as especially lucky and blessed, people belive that someone with a tiwn is more reliable and responsible than other people as they have all ways had their year cohort on their side. On the other hand it is seem as bad luck to fall in love and especially marry someone who was born the same year as you. Your year cohort is ment to be peers and friends you can relay on, on lovers.
Once a girl turns 17 they must take part in religious practice for women to cover at least half of their head with fabric, the way a woman dose this shows if she is married, dating, single, or looking for a relationship. Some women in bigger cities are starting to refuse this tradition and its quite controversial.
Public Action
Moret has been working on becomming more noticed on the world stage wanting to be more then just a small fishing country.
History
Once a part of the Ancient Velikin empire, Moret culture was small and relatively weak. They where pass around empire to empire, kingdom to kingdom, untill semi recently. They are no where near a being a world power, or even well known in the world.
Trades
Moret exports fish, shrimp and clams.
Religion
The Virtuous Congregation is the most common religion here, they do have a few of their own religious traditions tho.
