Zaruit has a lush livly coast line, with lush forest. While to the south they have grasslands that are home to many animals. Having a socking variety of bugs and strange gastropod on the coast. Many of the animals in Zaruit come in stranger shapes then else where, For sample the Zaruit Wild Horse has a cartilage bump on its forhead.Most Zaruit animals have evolved to make a sound of some sort. You can easily tell what time it is based off of what animals sounds you can hear.

Culture

Regardless of who you are, in Zaruit it's practically taboo to not wear a "woruan" A heavy thick, carpet like headress . These variy by length. A woruan in worn by pinning it to a head scarf. Woruan are often decorate with tassels and fringe, with fabric that is woven with patterns of holy symbols. Woruan are used to keep your face and neck away from the sun, flies and other bugs. Though some more strict families would say they wear them for modesty.

History

In the ancient world Zaruit was a beacon of trade. Being one of the holy places that made high quality ink they where a keystone in trade. Countries who needed Ink to make magic scrolls would travel countless miles to trade for it. Historically having Zaruit as a ally has been good path to victory or safty.

Zaruit's main trade is high quality Ink, This ink is harvested from beetles. All over the world this Ink is beloved and many people's favorite when it comes to Ink for magical scrolls.

Religion

Zaruit's main relgion is the Varcol sect of the The Virtuous Congregation. A sect that is unique to Zaruit. They fouce manily on virtues. Once a year people go to Varcol temples and talk their local Saint while being under a truth spell. The saint asks them questions about how they are going through life. If the saint finds them virtuous they are gifted a sliver coin. People wear these coins daily as a reminder that their actions effect others, and virtuous actions are worth a lot.

Those who have sinned are forced to wear heavy iron balls around their necks, waist, or even chest. Each sin they committ the more iron balls they have to wear. They can not take them off untill they have done 3 grand virtues per sin.
